By the time we got to this tasting room, we were starving. Thank goodness there was some food in the fridge, it was enough to hold us over till dinner. We had some oiled almonds, cold salami, smoked cheese and freshly toasted crostini drizzled in olive oil. The cheese just melted in our mouths. I was also thrilled to find out they have a tasting room in Woodinville, just 10 miles from my house.
Great white wines. I went for a 2008 Sauvignon Blanc. Chilled, it will start off any gathering. Their flavors are flirtatious and fun, which I associate to get-togethers and mixers as opposed to a quiet afternoon with a glass of wine with my husband. Overall, their selection was nice. The tasting room was decorated well, but my mind was still on the previous winery for flavor. I will go and visit the Woodinville wine room though.
Off to a couple more vineyards. Gosh I hope to make it to work tomorrow. I must say…Pat and Therron were great tasting room hosts!
